The Story of CASE

When our founder, Casey, first tasted a liquid-filled chocolate, he was stunned. How was something so simple… so magical? That moment of curiosity sparked an obsession.

At the time, Casey was running companies in energy and tech—not exactly the traditional path to chocolate. But he couldn’t shake the idea. He followed the trail to a centuries-old Swiss method called the Zuckerkruste technique, and convinced a chocolatier in Zurich to train him. For six months, he flew back and forth between Switzerland and Houston, learning how to cast liquid centers in sugar and wrap them in fine chocolate.

Back home, he built a makeshift chocolate lab in his house. He experimented. Obsessed over flavor. Reimagined what a chocolate experience could be. The result? CASE—one of the only chocolate speakeasies in the country, and the only one devoted entirely to this elevated, spirit-filled experience.

CASE is a love letter to curiosity. To craftsmanship. To chasing wonder.
